About Coyote Observatory

The creation of the observatory was an idea and plan that came together

over a period of months, beginning in the spring of 1999.

There was no single inspiration responsible for its existence other

then the desire to create the optimal environment for

experiencing amateur astonomy.

 

Together with my good friend Jeff Boote we have created a place

that represents a base of operation, performing some research,

a little community outreach, but mostly just having some fun.
